We are passionate about sharing our skills and empowering other artists and theatre makers of all ages to play with and explore the potential of circus theatre and storytelling. But we also know first hand how powerful arts learning can be for so many corners of our communities and are able to design bespoke experiences. Teachers and schools
We can offer workshops for schools and teachers that focus on using aspects of circus arts to create new ways of telling stories and making theatre. From circus skills to character building, devising and script adaptations, we can offer workshops for all ages across the 5 key stages.
Our team comprises of experienced teachers and lecturers, who make the best uses of active learning to engage everyone. We are especially experienced at developing bespoke workshops to support teacher development and to support your students to create original work for exam specifications. Workshops
We have an open-door approach to our work, inviting spectators into our rehearsals and seeking out opportunities to share our skills, practice and process with other artists, students and practitioners.

Community learning
At Kook Ensemble we have all seen first-hand how engaging in the arts can transform an individual or a community. From a community event focussing on a local topic to low stakes get togethers for groups looking to make new connections or develop new life skills.

Mentoring and coaching
We firmly believe that within our industry we should all look out for each other as best we can. Between us we have helped many artists, creatives and other professionals with DYOP, company set-ups, creative and technical delivery and idea creation.

Safeguarding
Kook Ensemble understands the importance of and is committed to the highest standards of excellent Safeguarding practice. We have a full Safeguarding policy in place. Our producer is our Designated Safeguarding Lead, and our practitioners and facilitators have an Enhanced DBS in place and have completed in Safeguarding training.
